67 250 with a 3 speed

I haven't taken any pictures of it yet. I haven't even pulled it out yet, but I have a 250 inline 6 and a 3 speed in a c10 long bed that I bought for the cab only. It runs decent not like new by a long shot but runs good enough that I have drove it around the yard a couple times. Not to much as it doesn't have any brakes. It needs a starter but the old one still works it just does a lot of screeching. I would take $350 for the pair or $200 for the engine alone and $150 for the transmission.

Re: 67 250 with a 3 speed

Would you part with just the air cleaner and stove pipe assembly?

Re: 67 250 with a 3 speed

For right now I would rather keep it as 1 unit, but if I do decide to strip it apart you be the first I contact. I do have to ask. Are you referring to intake and carb as a stove pipe assembly.

i dont believe 67`s came with stovepipes. Stove pipes are those metal tubes that feed from the air cleaner neck to the exhaust manifold usually

Re: 67 250 with a 3 speed

That was my mistake, it looked like there was one on your motor but I might need a new pair of glasses. Just the air cleaner if you decide to part, thanks

Re: 67 250 with a 3 speed

How much you want for it shipped to 44260. If you where closer I'd buy the whole engine.

I'll take $25 for the crossmember plus whatever it cost to ship it. Do you happen to know if the granny low 4 speed has the same crossmember as the 3 speed? I'll look tomorrow but I already have a 4 speed 1 out.

Re: 67 250 with a 3 speed

I've seen people say they are the same but since you have both if you could take a quick look I'd appreciate it. I will take it for that price.

When you say all the clutch linkage. Do you need the clutch pedal, the piece that goes from the block to the frame, and the clutch rod that pushes on the throw out arm?

Re: 67 250 with a 3 speed

I need the rod that goes from pedal thru the firewall. The zbar I believe it's called the part between frame and engine. and the rod to clutch fork.

10 for the throttle rod , 70 for all the clutch parts, and 25 for the crossmember for a total of $105 and I'll get the shipping figured out tomorrow.

I will have to think about the clutch linkage I'd be buying it for spare. Definitely want crossmember.

Let me know. The shipping won't be anymore. It will all ship in 1 box and won't weigh enough to make a difference.
