New to the site, Minnesota checking in!

Hey y'all. Names Joe. I'm from East Central area of Minnesota. I've been a fan of Chevrolet trucks since as long as I can remember. My dad always had Chevy trucks around growing up, and it's pretty much all I know. My dad gave me one of those trucks he had when I turned 16. The truck was a 1977 3/4ton 4x4 CustomDeluxe. Had a 350 and a 3spd.

I tragically lost it in a barn fire started by one of my little bros playin' with matches and cigarettes. I lost a part of my heart that day.

That brings me to today. I recently purchased a 1984 GMC 1/2ton 4x4 SierraClassic (hence the username) with a stout 350 and 700r4, with a np208. 3.07 rearend. It's in pretty rough shape body wise, needs new gas tanks and a radiator, however, it's rusty-but-trusty. I'm pretty much starting over from scratch here, but at least I can drive this truck anytime I want to.

I have a 1980 3/4ton 2x4 CustomDeluxe with a 350/400 as a project. no pics of that yet. Decent body to work with. Plans are to find a rolling 3/4ton chassis with 4.10 gears to make a mud truck out of. I will most likely start a build thread as we are tackling it this summer. Expect tons of pics, I'll be eating bandwidth for breakfast.

UPDATE: New to the site, Minnesota checking in!

Got rid of the 1980 CustomDeluxe for a new project.

1974 Cheyenne K1500 with a BB 396. 6" suspension lift and 3" body and 35" Kumho Venture MT. Strictly a mudder/trail truck.
