Taillight trim ?
I bought some 71-72 ( if i remember correctly) taillight trim cuzz i like the look. I've got a 67 bed. The trim has some tabs on one side. Did the later model bed sides have these corresponding slots for mounting the trim? If so i guess i just need to use a cutoff wheel and fab the slots.

There mounting HOLES on near the taillight openings for the trim mounting clips, is that perhaps what you mean?

Ok i now figured out where and how these mount. Tks for the help guys. I still haven't figured out what these 1" "pads" on the back of the bezels are supposed to do. I'll try to post some pics tomarrow so ya'll know what i am talking about. They hold the bezel 1/2" or so away from the bedside, preventing a flush fit. Does anyone know if the area around the tail lights are the same for 67/68 compared to 69-72 ? ( i know there are no holes in earlier model cuzz there is no bezel )

Tks everyone. Great info as usual. I'm soooooo glad this build is almost done ! I'll never do a 67-72 chevy truck again. My last two rebuilds were a 52 chevy truck and a 69 427 vette. This was/is the hardest of them all by far.
