rear sway bar ?

I just was thinking about installing sway bars, I Have a 1-1/4 inch sway bar for the front of my 81 , 1/2 ton 2 wheel , I just bought that from a local bone yard and have ordered the urethane bushing for it from LMC, and i was wondering if installing a sway bar in the rear is will help it handle better and if it will fit on a truck with a 4 to 6 in lowered suspension?

Re: rear sway bar ?

I replaced my front sway bar with an 1 3/8 and didnt notice too much difference. I added a rear sway bar and it was a big improvement. I'm looking to do a 2/4 drop someday and don't see why it wouldn't work, just need to shorten the links that connect to the frame.
