Real men DO wear pink
Well I know most of you are not anywhere near Mt. Vernon, IL but, I wanted to present this to all of you anyways. I am a firefighter here in Mt. Vernon and a member of Mt. Vernon Professional Firefighters Local 738. Our union has decided to sponser a campaign for breast cancer awareness. During the month of October (breast cancer awareness month) we will be wearing pink shirts while on duty. We are also selling shirts to the public to raise money for breast cancer charities.
