ABS light

A week after installing all new front end bushing, the ABS light came on. I don't have a scanner for ABS. My mechanic remembers he may have damaged a wire when separating the spindal/joints. Rock Auto has almost both left and right ABS sensors and wiring for the price of one locally. I may just replace both. 210K miles is a lot of wear on them. The sensors come with the entire back dust shield. Can I replace them wihtout removing anything else? I also have to replace pads. One side has a brake pad that's cracked. I will probably do it all at the same time. Rotors are new, so they get their first turn.
