Gas Tank Relocation

Hi everyone! I am deep into a frame-off restoration of my 1971 C-10. She was/has been my high school senior project and I cant wait until she is done! For many reasons, i decided to relocate the gas tank from behind the seat to the back frame rails. I put in a chevy blazer tank that has the neck going out at a 45* angle. I was wondering if anyone has any good ideas or past experience on where to route the filler neck and cap. I don't want to cut a hole into the side of my bed. I've heard of guys routing it through the back bed post and installing a pop up cap, but i not quite sure how they did it. Any ideas would be helpful!

Re: Gas Tank Relocation

POL has a kit to put it in the floor of your bed. Other companies do as well.
