Anybody use wheel spacers?

Okay, so I wussed out on tire size for cost and rotational sake, and now I regret it! Unfortunatly, tire's are expensive, and uncle sam(my boss) is cheap. Soooo.. I want to push these babies out an inch or two.

I have stock 15x8 rallies with 255/60's, and look good on the front, but the rear has me left dissapointed.. Has anybody here used these with spacers, and if so, how have they worked out for you? How about the quality? Where did you get them?

If I get a new set of wheels, you can add the cost of divorce to them, so I think I will just stick with what I have, plus, I like my plain rallies. I'm a plain type of guy. I just want them to fill the wheelwells.

Any suggestions?. By the way, here is how she sits:

Re: Anybody use wheel spacers?

I'm running them on the rear with my rallies on my '69 C/10 and they really improve the look. They are 1.25" spacers that came from someone on Ebay. My rear tires are 275's so your's should be in just slightly. As far as quality I have ran these for years with no problems. Just make sure you get the 6061 T6 billet ones and not the cheaper cast aluminum ones. You should be able to get a set on Ebay for less that a C-note.

Thanks,as far a drop goes, I couldn't tell ya the actual amount, but I'm running 2.5 spindles up front with one coil cut off. In the rear, I have leafs, so I pulled one or two leafs, don't remember how many, and used a DJM flip kit. I plan on going just a tad lower, but I need to redo my exhaust before I drop it anymore. The PO has a real nice cobbled up system on there, and the glasspacks are under the framerails.

Re: Anybody use wheel spacers?

I put a set on front and back this year and think they really improve the look of my truck and do not have any problems with them at all!! I have 1.25 inch on the front to clear the studs and I have a 1" set on the back. I was only going to buy a set for the front because the 15" rims that i bought had clearance issues on my lower control arms but after i put them on the front I noticed that the wheel studs were to long so i tred them on the back and they worked and bought the right ones for the front, I think it looks a bunch better now that they are both pusehd out that extra inch!!
