Sherwood Dash Kits

Anyone ever install one of these? How do they fit? Could you post a pic? Thanks.

IMO, I would stay away from this. There are a lot of reputable vendors out there that sell products that are know. There are a lot of good vendors on here if you’d like. If not, check out brothers truck, LMC, classic parts and a ton more. I stay away from sites like the one you listed. They don’t even have pictures of their products. That makes me leery.

Re: Sherwood Dash Kits

I haven't bought that kit but I've bought from Car ID before with no issues. Seems like they drop ship most things so they are likely just a website with zero product knowledge.

Re: Sherwood Dash Kits

I bought my steering wheel from them. You're right that it was sent directly from the manufacturer.

Here’s better info about it. It’s just appliqué stuff, stickers. You can pick your style. But the ac cover looks like it’s just the non-ac control, and the radio part is only if you have the knob style.

Re: Sherwood Dash Kits

I can't see paying over $200 for die-cut vinyl or whatever the colors are made from. Maybe the wood pieces are worth it, or the brushed stainless. All they did was make the patterns, which you can do or there are places that will die cut from your drawing or pattern. I see stiff like this as made for late-model stuff for an easy way to set one apart from the rest. I put walnut dash and door pieces in my '90 Blazer when it was new. But I'd not use stick-on stuff like this on a classic. They are classic for being cool as they were built back when and cheap add-on crap only detracts from them... IMO.
