Dash ?

The dash in my blazer has been cut for an aftermarket radio. A friend of mine just gave me a parts pick-up with a uncut dash. How hard is it to change out? Thanks Ed

Not bad if you have a welder. Remove the 3 bolts on each side-remove dash pad-cut dash along where holes are-cut new dash in the same place-bolt back in and just tack weld the dash down the line of holes-does not have to be perfect as it will be no see.

At the sides where it bolts in it might be spot welded there, some are some aren't. It took me a couple hours to get the spot welds undone on mine, you can't get a drill in there, I ended up pealing the metal apart to get the old dash out.
