i'm pissed

What has this world come to?????? Going out to my truck this afternoon I noticed something wasn't quite right about it, and then i noticed it. Some piece of $h!t stole my iron cross peep mirror from my truck. I'm so angry rightnow grrrrr. I always got tons of compliments for it. There aren't any vehicles in town that have these, so I know whenever I see a car from now on that has it, it probably is mine!

reminds me of a funny story. a buddy of mine was telling me of how some guy that was dating his next door neighbor stole his little antenna whip and put it on his car. My buddy saw him a month later and while he was in the car he walked up and started unscrewing it. when he had it he walked around to the driver window and ...... get this.... began whipping him with it while telling him, " don't (whip) you (whip) ever (whip) take (whip) my (whip) sh#t (whip) again (whip)!" and walked away with his antannae.
i love a story with a happy ending!

How did they get those off without the doors being open...?

don't they clamp over the door and have a set screw?

Yeah, I thought the same thing too. The mirror had two allen set screws holding it tight to the door. However the idiot did it, he managed to get it off..... might have broken it?

i had a cell phone stolen out of my GLOVE BOX once. Since my trucks never have had a/c i leave the windows down and put the stuff that needs to be hidden behind the seat or locked in the glove box. and i had this cell phone for 2 weeks and put it in the box, locked it and went to work at the local wally world. called it every hour or so to get the voicemsgs off and then noticed that it quit ringing, odd i charged it up the night before shouldn't be dead yet. on lucnch i went to get it and it was gone. broke into the box and took it. why? why try so hard for somethign so small. today a guy was busted for stealing 2 things of fishing line at wally world. the total was 3.50!!! only 3.50 why? explain that to me???

That sucks! I dont think people think their way through things... They dont realize how much time and thought goes into things and the attachment you develop for them... If yours were the only ones in town, he will hopefully slip up and reveal himself to you... have fun getting them back... lol...

Reminds me of the shop I rent. People often take it upon themselves as it were pull apart with out paying. I saw a door of mine on a 82' sunday. Then woke up wed and went to work and the damn truck was on my block. So, I called the police since the detective said to call them the next time i saw it. When the door was stolen , the battery was stolen, along with a tire. Im tired of things being taken.

That's a good one.
There was one posted on Pirate about a theif getting his. Guy goes to the mall and his DD is a trail rig. He had his Bead locks on and a set of 36 inche swampers. Some dork decides to try to steal them.

So guy who owns the truck comes walking out of the mall to find the FD and police all around his truck and finds out some theif trying to steel his tires or rims is pined by the truck.

Dumb theif. instead of the steeling the wheel and all he starts unbolting the bead lock for some unexplaind reason So he was proably trying to steel the actual bead lock ring is the guess.

So somehow this dork manages to have his hand in the wrong place when the air came out of the tire and the bead lock on a 4500lb truck pins his hand to the pavement with the weight of the truck on that corner now on it.

So they get the truck off this guy haul him to the hospital and one finge had to be recoved from under the truck.

From what the guy said that posted this the thief lost a couple fingers after it was all done. From what the cops told him is that he was stuck for about 20minutes then decided he needed help and started screaming. So finnaly got somebodys attention that had to go into the mall and call the cops and rescue. Of course they try to jack this 4x4 up by the bumper and it has like 20 some inches of wheel travel and they run out of jack before it runs out of suspension. Get a small jack under the axle and finnaly lift the wheel.

All told this guy was stuck like this for the better part of an hour. To rub salt into the wound...twice fire fighters not thinking leaned on the truck and cause it to shift a little and evoke a good scream from the guy in the process. LOL

Justice is served!

I had the metal versions of the Iron crosses not too long ago, came out one morning and someone had taken them - spent time unscewing the allen bolts that held them on. - so that morning I had no rearview mirrors to drive to work with.

Lame people.
