I dont know much about the 402. Is that the predisesor to the 396 or is it the same as 454 destroked?

396 w / .030 overbore = 402 . As far as i know thats the difference.

head # is 3993820
Has all new ARP bolts in bottom end Keith Black flat top pistons 304 duration cam HV oil pump standard main and rod bearings double roller timing chain 3 angle valve job on heads 2 bolt mains
