Keep your eyes peeled on craigslist, you will find something cheap if you keep looking. Just know about the troubles rust spots and bring a magnet with you

The default "WWW" site there is specifically for the SF Bay area. Just click straight through to "Cars and Trucks". Search feature is great for finding stuff.
