Does anyone know if any other stock Chevy bench seats will bolt-in to the factory holes of a '68 C-10?

Thought I read on here, before the web site layout change-up, that some of the more recent Chevy model beanch seats would ...

As far as i know, there are no direct 100% bolt ins from other vehicles. However, the floor is pretty flat, and many seats go in with minimal fab work.

We're going to use a bench seat from an 88 Chevy truck, will need to drill some holes, but supposed to be a good fit.

If you can find an 88-94, then seem to work the best (for a bench) in my opinion. The 95-98 got a bit thicker in the cushions and you would loose more room. Here is a set from a 90 C1500 that I had in my 70. I got stupid and decided to go buckets. I now wish I had kept the bench, but.

The space I used was a 3/4" to 1" pipe fitting which was perfet height.

As others have said... 88 up. But be careful of thickness because the cushy padding will sit you higher and further forward. I'm 6'3" and 250 lbs. The 01 style Silverado seats place my head against the top of the cab and my knees up around my ears. It's not very comfortable.

I'm using a split bench out of a 91 or so in my hauler. I had to drill new mounting holes and reinforce them from the bottom of the cab but that's no big deal. The seat is a hell of a lot more comfy than a stock 67-72 seat as well. I'm also using the belts out of a late model Tahoe/Suburban . They're a bolt in and use the factory anchor above your shoulder. Here's a pic of the seat .........
