67 1/2ton with leaf springs?

Was it a common thing to see 67 1/2tons with leaf springs? what about A/C? just bought one of these also

Not sure about the leafs but is your 67 a small or large back window? If it is a small back window with a/c then yes those are pretty rare. I built one for a guy a few years back. Only one I have seen out in oklahoma.

Rear leaf springs were very common on '67 GMC's.

Probably 98% of the GMC's produced in these years had leaf spring and probably 98% of the Cheby's had coil springs. You could order them either way. A/C was not unusual in 67 but got more popular as time went on. You see a lot more in 70-72 which is probably due to the public's acceptance of the newer design and the realization that there were a lot of options that worked pretty well---ie, air, ps, pdb, auto, tilt, tint, cruse, am/fm, etc.

A/C was a rather low production option in 67, like 3%. The large back window was more common at 14%.
