Blazers and Jimmy's for sale on CL Seattle

It seems like there are quite a few trucks for sale in Seattle at the moment. I though some from the "rust belt" might want know what is available in the pacific northwest.

Thanks for being our 'search engine' boucy! I had not found some of those.

Is a two-tone and upper mouldings factory on this one:

or did the owner do that?

I've only seen the one. I know of a half dozen or so (at least two that haven't moved in the 7 years I've owned my house) within 5 miles of my house. If I was more ambitious, I'd knock on a door and see if they want to sell, but I'm too lazy.

As far as I know, they didn't offer the two tone and upper moldings on the Blazer.

It does look nice, but I don't think it was offered that way either. Even the original CST's only had lower trim. As far as I know anyway. And I'm like you Bouncy, I'm too lazy or just don't have room for another project. When I retire though, I'd like to load up some NW trucks and take them home for restoral.

Re: Blazers and Jimmy's for sale on CL Seattle

Doesn't everybody want to retire and restore 67-72 trucks? I know I do too. No offense but I hope to beat you guys to it and score all the good cores! Speaking of which, I met Livrat (great guy) the other day at his shop in SeaTac. He has owned 400 of these trucks and is currently into blazers.

Are you retiring after you get back from Japan? I won't tell anyone about all the Blazers I know about and give you the info when you get back!

He went and looked at one Blazer I knew of in the Medina area. It turned out the mother wanted the truck gone, but the kid who owned it thought it was worth too much.

When I retire, I want to have enough money to have a auto restoration staff like Leno. (hey, a guy can dream)

hehe, I'll cut you in on the deal!!! Nah, I am going to do 3 more after I get back, bumps my retirement up almost a grand.

I'll probably punch out in 2012, May timeframe. If I can get a recruiting billet at home for the last tour, I'll be fat.

As far as staff goes, I think I have my 10 yr old daughter talked into wrenching for me. Of course, by then, she'll think Dad is full of Sh**.
