In cab gas tank

I am getting my gas tank back from the radiator shop today. I ordered a set of heavy tar paper pads (three of them) that cushion the tank. Problem is, when I removed my tank, I found no pads, so I don't know where they go. There is a piece glued to the back wall of the cab, but it is a single, larger one. I guess I thought these would go along the bottom between the tank and the floor, but if there's any magic to where they go, I'd appreciate knowing.

Thanks

I just removed mine 2 days ago and the only pads I found were between the floor and the tank. It was right in the middle of the tank and ran for 3 '.
Hope this helps
