Turn signals/ brake lites fixed

Since I've had the truck the turn sigs and brake lites never worked right. Fuses would pop, and signals worked once in a while. I had to jerry rig some brake lites with bulb holders and a wire from the switch. Well I swaped in the new steering colume for the auto trans convertion I'm getting ready to do next weekend. I rebuillt the whole colume and spang for a new turn signal assembly setup. Wow now I have brakes, turns and running all working right. So if your brake lites are giving you problems it could be the turn signal assembly. By the way, the colume I did turns out to be for a Powerglide, how that one got by me I'll never know. I didn't see it until I looked at the selector window and discovered I have drive and low. If anyone has an upper colume setup for a Turbo 350, I'm looking to buy one. I don't need the center shaft or the bottom shaft, just the housing from the firewall to the wheel.
