7 ft garage door

I have just bought my first 72 K5 blazer and would like to install 35's and 4 inch suspension lift. Can anyone tell me if I will have any trouble getting this under a 7 ft garage door?

It might squeeze in providing you have a garage door opener that pulls the door ALL the way up.

Mine is stock lift with 33" tires and it measure right at 73-74" to the roof. That gives you about 10" of wiggle room. It'll be close.

Alot of variables. Lifts aren't always exactly as advertised, and actual tire height varies between manufactures, even how the floor is poored might affect it as you pull in.

I've got 35's with a six inch lift. Height is 6' 11.5" at the top of the roll bar. No hard top on mine.

I have 35s with 7 inch lift, and barely make it with no top. You should be good for sure with no top. Might be sketchy with the top on. One thing to watch for is the arm your door motor attaches to the door(where the quick disconnect lever is) it usually is lower than the 7 foot clearance.

Not sure, I have a 9ft door because all my buddy's have at least 38" tires and 7" of lift. Should make it, but close. Most 35" tires are actually just over a 33" when on the truck with the weight of the truck on them.

Re: 7 ft garage door

Thank you, Sounds like it wont be an issue at all. Will have more questions this fall as we start the frame off on this blazer

I've got 35's with 4" and a 7' door. With no top I barely clear the door by an inch or two. The door hangs down below the frame by an inch or two, also.

Worst case scenario let a little air out of the tires. Thats what my buddy always did with his crawlers.
