so, i come home from school and it started to idle really bad, it had a bad vibration and there is a hesitation from a stop or slow roll when i push the gas. what can be the issue it has new oil, i dont know what to do, when in drive at a stop it viberates and the oil pressure slowly keeps lowering.

frist thing is to stop driving ti something is really wrong, i read somewhere ona small block chevy stock oil pressure at idel should be like 10psi and go up 10 psi for every 1000 rpms

and check to make sure all cyliders are fireing

Well it could be a small number of things, plugs fouled, wires bad, distributor cap burned or corroded, or wet, rotor corroded, any of these will cause it to run rough and shake, as far as the oil pressure dropping does it do it after it runs for a while, does it drop down to nothing or just 1 or 2 marks above? It's normal for it to drop after it has warmed up and it is idleing especially if it is running as crappy as you said it is!!

is vacuum advance functioning properly(vac line cracked or missing?)

well i just ghanged the plugs and wires and the oil, still shaking,so i guess ill have to change the cap and rotor, could this be motor mounts?

Don`t hate what you obviously don`t understand.Changing oil has no effect what so ever on how a vehicle runs.The 350 is a legendary motor that has no rival.A well tuned motor can run like that due to a failing torque converter or other transmission problem,even.

If you are not sure get someone to help you that really knows it is ok sometimes to let someone help. I have been there so many times that I am not sure then I ask. A 350 chevy motor is so simple that it is scary..Dont hate it...
