Question tranny Elec ?

I just recently helped a 74 yr old man put a new clutch in his 72 truck. He has a 4 speed in it. There are 2 electrical connections on the tranny housing. One has 2 prongs on it that look like a "T" and the other one more on top of the housing has just one prong.

Hooking these 2 back up, the 2 prong slid right back on, but the 1 prong wire wouldnt go on for nothing. The tab kept bending and finally broke off. Where can I find one of these new? The old man is bent on putting a new one in and I have called GM and they say they dont have anything going back far enough to help me. I did find the 2 prong one listed in the LMC catalog, but not the 1 prong.

Help!

The 2 prong is for the backup lights, and the 1 prong is a 4th gear indicator for the TCS system. Is the TCS vacuum stuff still hooked up under the hood? If it is not, there is no point in replacing the switch.
