Vintage Truck Magazine Article

I have been told that this months issue of Vintage Truck magazine there is an article about using Trex decking for the floor of your truck bed. I am interested in doing this myself but I've looked at the local book/magazine stores and none of them carry this magazine. My question is can someone who does have this issue scan the article and either post it or email it to me. I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

A member here that's on the 60-66 side of the board did this. I'll see if I can find it for you. If I remember right, the extra thickness was one issue. Plus he had to install an exhaust heat shield.

Re: Vintage Truck Magazine Article

I would like to see that article as well.

Personally, I would think twice before using any composite
or PVC. They are very heavy and will require much closer
support spacing than our cross rails would provide.
Of the Trex line, only Transcends might maintain it's color.

...just my .002...

The only issue with scanning it is copyright laws.

mi396ss, I couldn't find that thread, but you may want to ask who it was over on the 60-66 side.

Re: Vintage Truck Magazine Article

vintagae truck magazine

Here is a link to Vintage Truck...I bet you could purchase a back copy. I agree that scanning an article might be a no no... This is a good magazine which I subscribe to. In the fall they have a great truck meet at Youngs Dairy (Yellow Springs Ohio) and I might try to get a mini meet there for our members this year. . Great ice cream and things for the kids to do. Ok...I'm done.
