1972 interior door panel differences
I went to install my painted plastic door panels, and the screw at the back of the panel sisn't line up, so I had to drill a hold to put the screw in...
the originl screw hole was a good 2-3" higher on the door... I was putting a panel from a '72 Blazer onto a '72 C-10 Door... I did some searching and didn't see anything on that. Anyone else ever notice that ?

Re: 1972 interior door panel differences
Are you talking about this hole? Most of the ones I have seen match up perfectly on any 72 door, but I have seen a few that don't. I have even seen a few factory 72 door panels that have 2 holes. one at the top and one at the bottom.

Re: 1972 interior door panel differences
yep, that's the one.... I wonder if there was a slight mold change either early on, or near the end of the production run of the panels...
I need to look at the back of the panels, as there was a molded support tube on the blazer panel... would be interesting to see if it "moved"
