Re: WTB: 30 3/4 5 lug rear axles

Are you looking for 30 3/4t 5-lug rear axles?Good luck finding one.I don`t know there is such a thing.
Or,are you looking for 69 5-lug rear axles?Leaf spring or coil?Why 69...or 30 for that matter?Are you looking for a`69 5-lug rear axle?Back to good luck on that one,too.I don`t know of such as that,either.Maybe I`m misunderstanding?

Re: WTB: 30 3/4 5 lug rear axles

I was thinking about getting them redrilled but the prices people charge around here I am better off getting new ones and redrilling my drums myself

Does this sound smart?

If I remember correctly, Early Classics sells a 6-lug to 5-lug conversion axle... I'll check and edit here.

Yes... check this out-

copied from Early Classic website-
1963-'69 12-Bolt Rear-End 5-Lug Conversion Axles (Pair)
Converting your 1963-'69(30 Spline) C-10 truck rear end to 5 lugs just got a whole lot easier, thanks to Early Classic's new conversion 5 on 5" bolt pattern axles. These precision machined parts are American-made, and eliminate the need to re-drill your original axle flanges to accept the newer 5-lug wheels.

part# is: #02-6569AXL $279.00 or #902-6569AXLK $319.00 w/ bearings and seals

link- http://www.earlyclassic.com/catalog.aspx

I had my factory 6 lugs redrilled to 5-lug is was about $100.00 if I remember right.

This is what happens when someone searches and brings up a three year old WTB thread from the parts board to ask a question that should have been posted in the truck message board in a new thread started by themselves to ask their specific question.

I saw "You live near me" and thought,"HUH?" Maryland is near Illinois now? But,the thread starter is in Maryland....sheesh! pretty confusing when it's all so simple.
