parting 72 suburban

3rd door $150 [some surface rust on the bottom, but solid]

liftgate (1 rust hole in it, I've seen a lot worse)

72 hood

Like I said, I'll get pictures and prices. Let me know if there is anything else you want me to check on.

locks all match $50

I'm gonna pull the door panels and see what condition they're in. The back ones seem soft, but I don't know if they're supposed to be

Re: parting 72 suburban

Is the tilt tight? Any known problems? Is it a bolt in and go? Shipping to 75771.

Thanks,
Kevin

It felt tight to me tonight, however this is a non-running truck, so I haven't driven it or anything. It should pretty much just bolt in.

in that case, i will pass....

hope you find a good home for the body too rather than junk it. a west coast burb body should be pretty rust free i would guess. be great for someone who has all the parts and wants to save themselves the trouble of doing body work. seems far too many of the best burb bodies are getting junked lately.

Derek,
How much for the body tub with doors and door panels from the 3rd door forward? (as long as its not rusty in the drip rails or cowl)
Without the front clip...

This much

How does $600 sound (figure that's about what I'd get for the doors, door panels, and windshield)? drip rail area looks pretty clean, haven't dug into the cowl.

How fast do you want it? I wasn't planning on getting the suspension off for a few weeks.

I might even be able to send a set of 3/4 ton tires back with you

Last edited by Ackattack; 06-16-2010 at 01:56 AM. Reason: didn't see you wanted rear door panels too

Re: parting 72 suburban

Derek. Shoot me your phone number.. I'll come take a look..

$$ depends on how rusty, if you keep the frame and back half or if I have to cart it all off..

Not in a hurry. (no place to store it currently)

Please do what you with on the 3/4 ton tires/wheels.. (don't want them back)

I am interested in the white seat belts with all of the rubber boots and hardware. Could you post a picture of them with a description of condition and a price. Thanks!

It is a 3/4ton frame. How about $100. I will be removing all of the suspension though, but I could swap in the 3/4ton leaf rear and front drum suspension for $150 extra (basically price of the rear).

Also, Livrat is interested in the the tub, so maybe you guys could work together to get it, since it will take some doing to get the body off the frame.

Re: parting 72 suburban

What is messed up on the female ends of the white seat belts? Also what are you asking for the white seat belts with their hardware?

I'll take the grill, can you put it aside for me? I can get it next week sometime. Jeff.

Re: parting 72 suburban

I am not sure if you are reffering to the aftermarket looking seat belts in the 7th picture; but I am only interested in the three factory male and three factory female seat belts with all hardware and rubber boots in the 6th picture from the top. Just let me know what those would be when you get a chance. My zip is 77584 if you want to give me a shipped price. Thanks!

I'm looking for the end cap (1 cap, for one side) for a headliner bow - I can take a pic to show you what's missing... if that would help.
