Bought the Harbor Freight blasting cabinet today now which air compressor to go with?

I bought the stand up blasting cabinet from HF this evening and now I'm in need for a bigger air compressor so I have been looking at 2 from tractor supply I plan on buying a 100lb blaster in the future to do some frames and body panels...so which would be the better air compressor to go with?

The two stage one will be well worth it. I've also heard some people have issues with the motor on the single stage one. Can't remember the brand name of it off hand but I know a few have burnt out fairly quickly.

Either way for blasting you definately want the two stage especially for only the $150 difference.

Get a big compressor, we have a large 2 cyclinder and it has a hard time keeping up with the larger sand tank unit. when it comes to large parts, frame, rear end, crossmembers etc, you are money ahead having a commercial blaster do the job. I spent a week doing my frame and I could of had it blasted, epoxy primed, and painted for $300.00 or powder coated for $600.00 I spent that much on paint, sand , and labor.....and still did not do as good a job as the commercial guys do.....JMO Kieth
