Need Your Opinions On The Circuit Rider...New Shoes

Ok all I need you input...
The Circuit Rider has TT II's 16x8 wheels on the front and back and I am going to switch back to 15x7 on the fronts and 15x8 on the rears. I want to keep the old school look plus drop the front a couple more inches which is one of the reasons to go with 15" wheels. (rubbing issues)

Besides the TT II's ...what other old school wheels might look good on my truck, such as slots. I hope to purchase the wheels in a few months and put on TA's. I thought I would see what else is out there that I might want to consider. I am not into the tall wheels.

What do your think about these wheels?

Can't beat slots for period correct aftermarket wheels. Crager Super Sports are ok, but I really think some polished slots would be killer on the Circuit Rider. Trevor

Besides what is already mentioned, I also like the older satin torque thrusts. I think they would go with the color combo on your truck and blend right in.

Re: Need Your Opinions On The Circuit Rider...New Shoes

How about keeping your wheels and running a smaller tire. But if your dead set on some new wheels than some 15" TTO's would look killer on your truck.

What are TTO"s?
I also want to go with Goodrich TA's and they don't have a lot of selections in 16" tires.

I think it looks good the way it sits....

I know its all about personal taste but I think the rallys are a little over played. (I'm going to get hate mail for that...lol) They work and look good but a ton of people run them and being different is good.

If you had the TT II's on a camaro or El Camino I would also say there over done.

According to the pic the front tires on there now just appear to be too tall.

They are to tall...I want to go with TA Radials and they don't make a 16" tire that will drop enough for my liking plus I have rubbing issues on the inner fender. with 16x8's.

I like the idea of mags or original style torq thrusts, or even cragars would look good.

Here is some pictures of chuckmc8's truck with the 15" torq thrust originals. They are pretty sweet wheels and would look great on your truck. You can get them from newstaglia wheels.

I've got 15 inch Torq Thrusts on my CST with the stock tire size BFG commercial TA's. I think they are beautiful wheels....I no longer lust after any other wheels..

If I go with 15" TT II's...maybe I'll keep the rear with my 16x8's and the fronts 15x7's. This would help keep my cost down. Just a thought.

70cst i like that idea and the staggered look would look pretty sweet plus like you said your only buying two wheels and tires and not four.
