shaking at idle
i have an 85 c1500 with the 305.. just a little while ago i was on my way to work. the truck did fine util half way to work, it started shaking at stops and just under 10mph
 ,also when i would put it in nuetral is would stop as well. Anything above that was running normal. so i had to take it home (just in case). but when i got home i romped on the gas a cloud of black smoke came out the exhaust,and wouldnt you know the shaking stopped. even took it for a spin around my block to make sure it wasnt some sort of fluke.what could have cause this, clogged fuel line, bad gas. would like your input if i should hesistate taking to work tomorrow. |

Something stuck in your needle and seat. Flooding a bit. Next time you start it look inside the carb to see if any extra fuel is in there. If so then it'll continue flooding till you check out what's making it flood.
