rotted floors/rockers
I need cab corners in my '71 C10 LWB stepside, inner and outer rockers and atleast 6-7" of each support mount (close but not including the body mount)
The rockers are rotted about an inch into the floor area, rest of floor is good. What order should I begin welding all the new panels in? Should the support pieces be last or first? Thanks |

you can do it either way but i put supports in last as i am most concerned about getting the rocker where i want it for good door gaps

I've got the same job coming up on mine, I had planned on doing the rockers first, as shocker said, to get my door gaps correct and for straigtness. Then the floor and supports. Good luck with it!

Im working on the same project. The local resto guy recommended starting on inner rockers, checking the fitment, then supports, then the rest. Sounds like this is the same information! Good luck and happy resto!
