Nice Suburban 4 Wheel Drive Frame (Roller)

-
I have a pretty nice 1972 Chevy/GMC Suburban 4x4 frame for sale. The only alteration is the hitch on the back. I think it would be easy to remove or replace it with a nice one. The frame was not cut. No rust out anywhere and the only scaley stuff is on the rear by the hitch. It still has the original undercoating in places. Not being a 4x4 guy I don’t have a clue what it has for the front or rear axles. The rear driveshaft is there. It has a mish-mash of wheels on it and it will be sold as a roller, just don’t know what it will have on it when it leaves here at this point in time. $300 picked up in Montezuma, Iowa. Post up any questions you have. I can also take pictures of specific areas if there is something you want to see close up. I'm pretty sure I have the parts to make this into a 4x4 pickup frame if you would want to....

As per board rules all replies in thread before any PM’s are sent.

If I can find a buddy to make a hotshot run with me I'll take it. Would you be willing to meet me in Osceola? I'm coming from Dallas, TX.

Wouldn't happen to have a 16" x 6.5" 6 lug wheel on it by chance? looking for one.

I've got a set of mid 90's Z-71 wheels just sitting around.

Yes, I could meet you in Osceola. I would have to have a deposit on it to do that though. Too bad you weren't a week or two sooner. A friend of mine was just down there for the GoodGuys meet...

PM sent.

Hi CORSAIR,

Can you post a picture of one of your wheels in this thread?

Looks like all of my wheels like that are 15"... It seems like I remember reading on here somewhere that the 16" ones are kind of rare.

Hi Trey,

No I don't. I'm not sure how you tell on the 4x4's. I couldn't find any numbers on it but I didn't try wire brushing it at all. I can look a little closer tomorrow.
