How much does a V8 motor weigh
Just curious what a V8 motor weighs without carb and exhaust manifolds. Thanks Randy

Just a WAG... around 400 lbs with out other brackets, alternators etc...

I would say around 500# and the big block another 100 or so.

Depends on what V8 you are talking about. Classic SBC ~500, Classic BBC ~600, LS1 ~400.
