350ci Dauntless Buick Truck Engine?

Hi Fellas, Im looking at this 69 Kaiser Jeep Gladiator, it has a running 350ci Buick Dauntless engine in it...Anybody know anything about these engines and trucks? I can snag it for $2000...

All I know is they are good motors and AMC did a lot of that "sourcing" back then. My buddy had a Wagoneer from around then, maybe '68?,with a 327.

It's a '69 Buick 350. Nothing special. Those Jeep trucks have parts that fit for many years, which is kind of nice. Not my cup of tea, but if you want a Jeep truck, that looks like a decent start from the photos.

Looks like a good start. I wonder how easy a 455 swap would be?

direct swap. I did that with my 74 Apollo. pulled 455 from my 74 Electra and dropped it right in. the proceeded to twist the unibody until the doors wouldn't close.

those old Jeep trucks are strong and unstoppable
