Quick disconnect?

I am putting together a new gauge cluster, all electric with turn indicators, high beam, etc.I would like to plug in{male/female}for easy removal of cluster.I am not having much luck finding a 12 pin male/female system for 16 ga wires, any ideas?

Re: Quick disconnect?

Are you planning on using the stock 7 gauge cluster or something entirely different? If stock then you will have to wire the gauges separately or or try to solder the plug to the circuit board. Then you will have to build the cab harness unless you have one.

If you just need the 12 pin plug you should be able to get one from someone here on the board.
Here is a thread that might interest you and you might send Putter a PM to see how he does the plug-in.-----http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?t=110613

Re: Quick disconnect?

Thanks for the input guys.VV,Just got the cluster wiring and lights finished. Its a 7 hole but all a/f VDO{electric}.I did find some connectors and they are enroute from Summit.

Ccdowns, lots of marine stores here in the keys too but nothing to accodomate enough circuits.

Those are nice harness bundles but just need the connectors.Thanks.

The little square white connectors only go up to 18ga,cluster is 16ga.Thanks.

Will post a picture, waiting on the connectors and a blinker indicator light.
