Re: moving hanger and shackles

yes you have to grind the heads of the rivits off and punch them through the frame then replace with Grade 8 bolts.

No, two is not enough. You will need to drill two new holes.

Re: moving hanger and shackles

Had the same springs in mine when I did my BUDGET drop. Ended up taking out 16 leafs, i would have to go look in the snow bank. Replaced the centering pin, used STOCK shackles and moved BOTH hangers up the frame. Not as low as I want it but it works for now.

Holly Cow, I'm guessing mine where a little softer than yours. Have you moved the hangers up yet?

Re: moving hanger and shackles

Just read your WHOLE rig build up. And then went and looked at mine. YEP, my springs settled out more like the other guys. If you got a good yard around the area, I would go and look for a set of 3/4 ton springs. Might cost up a little money but a lot less work. Just my opion to help out a fellow dually.

Re: moving hanger and shackles

I beleive the will, dont see why they wouldn't. Or see about getting some one ton leafs that dont have as much arch as yours does. Just trying to help but depending on how low you want to go, I say BAG IT. That is where I'm headed with mine. Good luck and GREAT work so for.
