77 305 stroker, a 323?
Found a craigslist engine that says it is a rebuilt 77 323. Talking to the guy didn't make much sense, he didn't, but it isn't far away and is cheap. Supposed to have new rings and bearings and honed cylinder walls, but the first thing he said was that it was painted pretty! so............like I said it is close and I am going to pull the pan, plus it was never installed.
The question is a 305 rebuilt 30 over is......? And i have never heard of a 323 stroker, generally isn't it a 337 or something? Help, I am going in the morning depending on what gets answered here. Thanks, Steve |

Search for 335 stroker (3.75 stroke), a 323 would be a 3.625 crank I believe...

Thanks, to many strange things on this engine. It's close so I am going to check it out.
