what year tailgate is this?
 Bought this thinking it was a 1967 gmc tailgate, ummmm noooo its not. Wondered what year it is? How much is it worth? I paid 145.00 not a bad price for a 1967 gmc tailgate, but now i know that its not for a 1967. I should have did my homework before I drove 80 miles. It has a slight bow, a small dent and a small ding. Has surface rust but otherwise solid.

It is 73+.....There may also be a break at 1980-1987 but I am not sure.

I was thinking maybe 1975-1976 due to the location of the GMC but wasn't too sure. I'm going to post it for sale as soon as I get it narrowed down. Thanks for the help

At first the GMC was on the driver side. Not sure what year they moved it. Just post it for sale in the 73-87 parts section. I'm sure people will identify it if a potential buyer doesn't already know. It's not rusted out,which is a big pus. But that is pretty serious surface rust. I'm not sure it's worth what you paid. Just list it for that much and see what happens.You can always lower the price. Anything's better than eatin' the whole mistake.

add a picture of the hinge mounts. Those are different between 73-76 and 77-80
