Anyone running knock off spinners on 5 lug rallys

I was thinking about running some knock off spinners on my 5 lug truck rally factory center caps and from what I can tell the OD on the cap is 3 1/16" and everything that I have found online is 3" ID for the spinners. Is anyone running them and if so can you give me some info on where to get the correct ones.

Thanks PT

Re: Anyone running knock off spinners on 5 lug rallys

I have these spinners I bought from a vendor at the portland swapmeet about 20 years ago.
The caps are van caps that are not that common and the center diameter is smaller than regular caps.

Very cool, those caps must screw in from the back side. This must be the same cap you are running. I have seen them in the past but you are correct you do not see them to often. What is the OD on those caps.

Thanks PT

They measure 2.980 in. So call it 3 inches.

There is another thread on here a few days back( Feb 20 7:00pm) on the same caps, hope this helps.

Re: Anyone running knock off spinners on 5 lug rallys

I found some more, if I find the fourth I'll have another set.Come to think of it when I bought the spinners they came with some spun domes that covered the lug nut area and the spinners bolted to them.

Re: Anyone running knock off spinners on 5 lug rallys

I have seen the ones you are talking about. The dome is a cheap looking uni lug type dome.

Re: Anyone running knock off spinners on 5 lug rallys

That's right, I flogged them pretty quick. They had a hat you bolted on with the lugnuts and a cyndrical piece came out from the center with a 1/4-20 stud sticking out.
Then you put the large spun cap on and that was held in place with the spinner.

Did you find the caps on E... yet?

Re: Anyone running knock off spinners on 5 lug rallys

No sure did not. They were too high anyway, $125.00 for a used set. Not going to pay that when I can buy NOS for $200.00 for a set of NOS ones.
