If the C10 is 73-87 they are compatable with your 81 C15 but check the rotor thickness(1in or 1.25in) on both trucks. Spindle, rotor, inner bearing, and calipers are specific to each size so if there is a difference between the two trucks you will need to keep those parts together.

Thats what the guy was telling me. He said the suspension parts off a C10 won't work and didn't even have nothing for mine. That sucks, I wish somebody with a 81" Sierra Grande would chime in and clear this up.

I dont think you understand what he was saying in the previous post. He said they WILL work. Our trucks are all the same 73-87. the difference is some trucks were optioned with 1.25 rotors and others with 1" rotors. Doesnt matter if its C10 or serria 1500 they both came with those options. so go measure your rotors to see what you have and order parts for that rotor thickness even if you have to lie to the guy at the counter and tell him you have a 81 c10. believe it or not people at parts counters don't always know everything let alone a nut from a bolt, sometimes you get lucky and have a guy who knows his stuff.

My trucks a 85 serria classic 1500, I order all my parts for a 85 C10 cuz its just easier.

Got ya.... Thats what I usually do. I told him SierraGrande and he said he had classic and deluxe but nk Grande I was getting everything from Jason anyway. The tech guy at stylin trucks was confused I think.

C10 Chevy and a C15 GMC for the same model year are exacaclactly the same.

Just a marketing gimic. Marketing can put anything they want on the fender but it doesn't change the parts that go on the truck.
