Thinking about selling my 2wd.

Well I don't really want to sell it or have to sell it, but I don't have any time to do any thing with it right now ( I have 3 kids that like to take up my free time). So I'm not sure what I want to do with it right now. If I sold it the $ would just go into my other blazer, but then I'm not even sure how much I would sell it for. And then if I sell it I don't want to regret it later. Any one have advice for me?

Re: Thinking about selling my 2wd.

I know the feeling. Most of my spare time goes to family. I haven't done much to the Blazer in years except drive it. I've got a few parts i've purchased sitting in the boxes still in the garage without any time to install them.

I'd say get it driveable and cruise as is until you have time again.

Re: Thinking about selling my 2wd.

I say keep it but I can understand your thoughts I got a 2wd too down in your neck of the woods well kind of in Logan Ut I moved to Boise about six months ago and I got no where for it up here or the time with school and all. But I know how lucky I came in finding the one I got so again I say keep it cause they are a tough find but if it must go hopefully ya give fellow utah natives or atleast the forum first bid on it.

Post if for sale for a ridiculously high amount. If someone pays, great, maybe you could buy another down the road. They're always for sale....

Re: Thinking about selling my 2wd.

Is your other Blazer 2 or 4wd?
Never mind, I've thought about selling mine as a project 100 times in the last 3 months, but all it takes is an hours work on it to convince me to keep it a while longer. At this rate it may drive again one day.....keep yours and try to spare a couple hours a week on it for now, some day.........

If I do try to sell it I would put up for a high amount and see what happens.

My other blazer is a 4wd that Ive had for 11 years and has had a cracked block for 5 of them.

I have a third project car that I burned out on a year ago that I'm putting up for sale soon

Re: Thinking about selling my 2wd.

I sold my first real project (1950 chevy 3800). every time i see a beautiful 50's truck i get all p!ssed at myself and get a sick feeling. if i had more room at the yard i would store it for you just so you don't have to feel the lose.

Re: Thinking about selling my 2wd.

How old are your kids? It might make a great father son/daughter project one day. Just thinking about this myself. My oldest is only 10 and is only mildly into cars but hey father/son time is what its about.

I vote keep it.

Re: Thinking about selling my 2wd.

Well Ive been thinking about it all weekend and decided to not put it up for sale. My kids (all girls) don't really care for cars right now, but my nephew (he's 15) was over at my house this weekend and wants to learn how to weld and do body work so I'm going to have him help me out on it later this summer. So he is pretty excited and later on I'm going to help him find a project for him.
