Need dust shields?

Do you have to have the dust shields that mount on the spindles? What are these for? Or are they really splash shields? I can't seem to find any and mine are messed up.

Re: Need dust shields?

There are some decent ones on the parts board that need some minor straightening and painting.

Here is a link: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=524650

Re: Need dust shields?

Mine were beat up pretty bad when I bought my 5 lug stuff from the junk yard. I straightened them out and painted them. Here's a pic of the mock up.
I don't know how bad yours are but you can fix a lot with a hammer and vise.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Need dust shields?

I saw those too. I just don't want to have to remove the rotors.
