Leaf Springs VS Coil Spring Ride Quality

Question for everyone. I know that coil springs ride better than leaf springs, but my question is how much better? I'm gonna be converting my coil spring 2wd to leaf spring 4x4, and want to know what type of ride quality I can expect. It's a longbed, so I know that will help a little, and I plan on having a 4" Skyjacker Soft Ride lift with 35's. Any and all input is greatly appreciated.

I have driven many different kinds of trucks with many different kinds of suspension (Love traveling the US, trying out friends vehicles).
I can truly tell you, if you are going with leafs and a soft-ride lift kit. It should be a smooth ride on the open road. However, if you take it off road, that is a different story. You will be bounced around in the cab some. But thats half the fun.

Sounds like you got it handled, go for it, the only thing I would say is make sure you are using heavy duty shocks to minimize bouncing like crazy when you are offroading with that soft ride kit.

You won't like the ride. It's stiff and bouncy.
