disc brake conversion and 6 to 5 lug

Hi everyone, new guy from Australia here

Im looking at converting my drum brake 1970 c10 to disc brake front and probably leave the rear drums but change it to 5 lug with an axle conversion kit.

it will be an everyday truck so looking at something pretty decent without blowing the budget, are the kits classic industries and ecklers sell any good?

I will probably use a 2inch as well which are part of some kits.

very hard to make decision as you guys are spoilt for choice when it come to aftermarket gear.

any advice is appreciated

Re: disc brake conversion and 6 to 5 lug

GMC Pauls has one of the best priced kits for the 6 to 5 lug I have seen. It has all the equipment to convert over to include the power brake booster(standard drop spindle or 2 1/2 drop spindle choice). Most other sites I have been on do not include the booster in the kit. $685 for it and its manufactured by McGaughy's.

63-70 Deluxe 5 Lug Disc Brake Conversion part number 3081941

I am either going thru him when I get my 6 lug kit, or CCP. Have to decide when it come time.
