My '72 GMC has a Barten's bumper (2nd pic),but '72 had a one year-only stamped bumper while prior years had one made from c-channel (shown in prior post). The '72 Chevys have the '72 step bumper (3rd & 4th pic).

Cool Re: show me your step bumpers

I bought this one years ago. I just ordered it from a local bumper place.
I use it all the time when hauling the trash off.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: show me your step bumpers

This first one kind of blurs the line between a step bumper and a deck. The second is a fairly skinny aftermarket.

I have a collection of over 200 license plates . . . and it's, one of them !!!

The bumper had a big, rusty crack on the top of it so it was thrown away during my trucks restoration . . . it couldn't be saved.

Re: show me your step bumpers

Probably the best shot I have of mine, its a heavy bugger, complete with receiver hitch and is fully welded to the frame so zero chance of removing it easily although I'm kinda fond of it now.
