Re: Wow! $38,995.00

Looks like it is a very high end build. I bet that the BIN is very close to or maybe even less than what it cost to build it. Not my taste, but lots of very nice custom touches.

It probably is less the the cost to revive it if it needed even a little bit of work. The engine and drivetrain is probably 10k to do... looks nice

Doesn't really do much for me. But I do love the interior.

looks like a $40,000 pumpkin. nicely built skipping no detail but the color choices just dont go imo. would be way nicer with black or grey int.

Cutdown truck door? Why not smooth it out.... that little horn on the door sill looks real strange.

Agreed, factory gauges and rally wheels would make me like it even more.

Are you talking about that black thing sticking up? That's the top of the window track. It's stock.

Re: Wow! $38,995.00

Weatherstrip is easy to fix and wouldn't sway me.

I do like orange but I'm bias having 2 orange vehicles myself. What I can't do is the orange top though. That's a bit much. Would have liked to see a different color there.

Like the others I'm not a fan of big wheels either, but overall it appears someone spent alot of time and money on it. Definately cost more to build than the asking price.

Would make a nice toy for someone to just jump in, turn key and drive/enjoy/show.

I'm thinking the car market is looking good right now judging by recent sales in Vegas and what's to come. These things are climbing in price recently, I wonder what the next 2-3 years will hold. I was a little shocked when my wife drove ours to work last week and 3 of her co-workers mentioned what they would be willing to pay for it on the spot. Got my wheels turning now

Re: Wow! $38,995.00

Let me say that I think it is a very nice Blazer. But for $38k I would expect some new shocks and steering stabilizers. Those old dirty units don't do the truck justice.

Yeah, I thought the diff housings and springs could have used more detail work as well. Although it's only pictures that can be misleading, but it appears they were just spray bombed black with no real care to detail work.

Re: Wow! $38,995.00

I was also curious about that transfer case. Is it just me or am I seeing no crossmember at all for the T-case? Is that thing just hanging off the back of the trans like that?

It appears the cross member for the trans itself is custom made and there is nothing there to support that T-case. Yikes!

I just looked, and mine is that way. But I also have a backwoods conversion to a non-stock transfer case done by the p.o.

Re: Wow! $38,995.00

All the t-case are mounted that way ,between the trans and the case. The Np205 which was in the blazer also had a side mount. The t-case you see is a Np208 and they also used a strut rod to the trans converter cover.
