Bent emergency brake pedal

I've got a 70 gmc 3 spd manual on the tree and the ebrake pedal is bent about 45 degrees and was wondering if that is normal?

Yes, they do have a curve in them from the factory, but a gradual one.

Maybe someone had kick panel speakers in it at one time. Some guys bend them out a little to clear those... If that is the kind of bend you are talking about.

Re: Bent emergency brake pedal

45 deg which direction?? It should be pretty vertical side to side. A pic is worth a thousand degrees.
