250 engine on s10 frame in a 49 pickup

has anyone put a 235 or a 250 inline 6 on the s10 frame 49 pickup? i am sure i will have to fab the motor mounts, but wondering about clearance issues.

It's a 1/2 inch from the firewall and there's a 1 1/4 gap in between the radiator and water pump shaft.

looking at the last photo you posted, it looks like the motor is mounted very low. Is there some reason for that?

That's where it fit in the frame the best, and I didn't want a trans tunel.
