68 Chevy C10 Stepside

I'm working on a 68 Chevy C10 and I'm running into an issue with my back bumper brackets lining up on the frame. Anyone have any advice?

Were the brackets bolted to the bumper when you were doing this? If so I would loosen the bolts and try it. That and make sure they're not swapped side for side.

Re: 68 Chevy C10 Stepside

I had them on the correct sides but my bumper is for the stepside and the brackets are marked for a fleetside......that could be the issue.
