Re: exhaust

You can find a lot of sound clips of different mufflers on u tube.
Or take the time at local car shows too hear and ask what they are running.

A 350 only really needs 2 1/2" exhaust. Sure you could go bigger but it's only a benefit if your racing or chasing hp.

Try and find a decent local exhaust shop it's the best way too get it done if you can't do it yourself.
If your dropped/lowered you could have issues like going over the axle with a kit. They are built too fit a bone stock truck.
If you ask me they are expensive compared too a quality shop built exhaust with mandrel bends and not crimped bends and welded joints

Ask yourself do you want aluminized or ss there is a big price difference.

Re: exhaust

I have these exact mufflers on my truck. My truck is stock 1972 350/350 with the original ram horns. I had 2 1/4 inch pipes with duals installed along with a H pipe and ran the the exhaust out behind the rear wheels. Nice rumble at idle a little bark on acceleration with a slight rumble at highway speeds. Maybe you may want something louder.
