Fresh off the boat in Sweden

Hello everyone.

New owner of a 1961 C10 stepside here. I bought this late March through a friend that lives in Seattle. He loaded it in a container and now it has finally arrived here in Sweden. Still have to do some paperwork before it's legal to drive. Plus some (perhaps a lot, dont know yet) electrical work, only left rear light is working right now, no headlights, turn signals or parking lights.

Really solid cab, 350 engine, auto trans, converted to discbrakes and power steering.
Engine is fitted with a really noisey gear drive that I will replace.

Here are some pics:

Re: Fresh off the boat in Sweden

Good looking truck. I have rewired my 65 with American auto wire kit and it worked great. My 66 is starting to show signs of old wiring and I have a kit to do it now.

Wilkömmen! That's a great looking truck, I doubt there are very many in Sweden.

Another vote for American Autowire, they make a great product.

Re: Fresh off the boat in Sweden

Welcome to the forum

I agreee that is a good looking truck. It seems like there are 2 or 3 other members here from Sweden and a few more in Norway.
