Thin Black- (-) I have no idea where on the coil it goes
Red- Triggers for the system to turn on and off i can figure out where the splice that into

White - no idea where it should go if im supposed to use it
i do understand they are not to be used together.

Red is power that's on when the key is on and in start position. Orange is +coil. Small black is -coil and white is to points or ignition amplifier. If you're using and HEI the wiring is different but you can Google msd wiring diagrams and find their website and instructions for wiring any kind of distributor etc.

I dont know where the + or - on the coil is. Do i have to splice the wire or is it supposed to connect in somewhere...

Start at page 13 for HEI ignition.
MSD Instructions

and

Supercoil Instructions

Exact wiring depends on which module is inside the distributor. I had the 4 pin / magnetic triggered so I removed it and used the #8861 bypass harness described in the instructions.
